This guardian angel image took longer than any of my other images and went through several revisions. I wanted to get it as close to perfect as I could. The angel had to look powerful, yet peaceful. The woman had to look in obvious anguish. Did I succeed?

I thought this image of one gold sphere in the midst of many silver spheres would be a good illustration of the Bible verse, “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world” (Romans 12:2a). This is my friend Steven’s favorite piece of mine.
