Sci-fi

This science-fiction piece was completed for a contest at the Bryce forum at Renderosity. Once I started rendering the image, I realized that there was no way my computer could handle it due to the enormous number of light rays and reflections. So I sent it to a render farm (a business with dozens of computers networked together) to process for me. This is how film companies like Pixar and DreamWorks process frames for their digitally-animated movies.
